OADS is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Corporation. We have been around since 1971, and we’re here because persons with developmental challenges have much to offer the community.

Our Mission
It is the mission of Old Adobe Developmental Services, Inc., to provide opportunities for individuals with developmental challenges to reach their fullest potentials.

Our Job
Our job at OADS is to find ways for these individuals to find full expression in all parts of their lives. We have a partnership with the Adult Education Department of the Petaluma School District in providing services to persons with developmental challenges.

We are funded by the Department of Rehabilitation and the Department of Developmental Services. We are the largest nonprofit agency in Petaluma.

Currently we operate seven distinct programs and you might find us working in San Rafael, Novato, Petaluma, Penngrove, Cotati, Rohnert Park, Santa Rosa, Rincon Valley, Cloverdale, or Sonoma. OADS is known as a leader in its field. We get it done for the people we serve!
